Strategies
Good strategy starts with your next goal, current bottleneck and the time you can spend managing the empire. No fleet mix, mine ratio or build order is best in every situation.

| Combat strategies | Scouting, matchups, profit and timing |
| Fleetsaving | Moving ships and loaded resources while away |
A 3.0 starting plan
New accounts begin with an empire in G4. Develop its station's power and mines, add physical Research Labs for RP income, and choose research that enables your next useful action. Existing players can join G4 separately through galaxy selection; earlier empires remain in their own galaxies.
Research is purchased with RP or automatic investment, not a timed resource queue. Saving for an important unlock can be more useful than buying an unrelated cheap level. Your research profile describes your choices without locking you into a focus.
Expand only when you have Astrophysics capacity, a Heavy Freighter and a useful location to supply. Industry, raiding, exploration and trading offer different ways to develop; none removes the need to understand its costs and risks.
Daily habits
- Check the selected galaxy and station before spending or launching.
- Keep enough energy, storage and fuel for your next plan.
- Use current intelligence and actual launch quotes.
- Avoid leaving unnecessary ships and loot unattended.
- Coordinate with allies, but verify timings and report freshness yourself.
Active galaxies use anchored stations. Do not follow old moon build, moonshot or moon-destruction strategies. Fleet upkeep is active in G1–G4: G1/G2/G3 follow a shared October 1, 2026 subsidy calendar toward permanent 25%/50%/75% rates, while G4 pays 100%. Keep Credits available or unaffordable stationary ships can enter stasis. NPC empire automation, Infiltration and intergalaxy transfers remain held.
