Sensor Phalanx
Sensor Phalanx reports show eligible fleet movements involving a target within range. Active 3.0 stations can use retained phalanxes; the old “moon only” rule is no longer the station model.
Cost and range
Construction requires Phalanx Technology 1.
Construction cost
Base material cost for target level L is the level-1 amount × 2^(L − 1), rounded to the nearest whole resource before applicable discounts.
| Resource | Level 1 | Level 5 |
|---|---|---|
| Metal | 20,000 | 320,000 |
| Crystal | 40,000 | 640,000 |
| Deuterium | 10,000 | 160,000 |
Material Physics reduces material costs. Buildings and facilities also require the Credits shown in the construction quote. Use that quote for your actual price.
Base range is facility level² − 1 systems. Research adds facility level × (1 + (Phalanx Technology level − 1)/100) at research level 1+, with the total research addition rounded half up. With facility level 2 and research 26, the research addition is round(2 × 1.25) = 3, giving 6 systems total. Research level 0 contributes zero.
Using reports
Opening a report costs 2 Fuel Cells from the origin. Refreshing that same open report is free for five minutes; closing it ends that refresh session. Scans share the 500 Fuel Cells per calendar day usage cap with Jump Gates and eligible reward boosts.
Reports show visible fleet routes, mission details and timing. They are not an inventory of every ship docked at a target. Do not assume old moon-based invisibility tactics apply to ordinary stations. Check the actual report and fleet mechanics when planning an arrival.
