Seasons
MWarfare 3.0 uses a shared galaxy selector. G1 is permanent, G2 and G3 preserve seasonal empires, and G4 is the newest open galaxy. Starting in G4 does not erase an existing empire elsewhere.
Next galaxy preview
The selector shows G5 as a disabled countdown toward January 1, 2027 at noon Eastern (EST). It is not open for enrollment. The countdown alone does not create a season, close an older galaxy or open G5 automatically.
Watch the galaxy selector and release announcements for confirmed openings and closeouts. Do not assume your assets will transfer or a galaxy will retire solely because a calendar date arrives.
Ratings seasons and history
A ratings season is a competition period within a galaxy. Its rankings and history are separate from the other galaxies. A galaxy without an active ratings season can still contain your empire; opening another galaxy does not create a ratings season automatically.
Quarterly noon-Eastern openings and oldest-season retirement described in older release notes are historical operating plans. Current availability is listed in Galaxies.
Earlier closeout rewards
The Season 1 closeout used Veteran Cache deliveries for eligible accounts in the permanent galaxy. That was a specific closeout award, not an automatic reward for joining a new galaxy. Check Exchange → My Deliveries for any cache already assigned to your account.
