Combat
Ordinary fleet combat is automatic. Prepare by checking intelligence, matchups, flight fuel, cargo and return timing. A strong fleet on paper can still lose an unfavorable matchup.
| Guide | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Battle mechanics | Six-round combat, research, shields, hull, loot and recovery |
| Rapidfire | Exact target matchups and repeat-shot probability |
| Debris fields | Recovery rates, decay and salvage planning |
| Combat simulator | A limited preview before committing a fleet |
| Tactical Squad | Separate turn-based survival runs using committed owned ships |
Before an attack
- Check the correct galaxy, station slot and report timestamp.
- Scout all relevant fleet and defense sections; an undisclosed section is not empty.
- Simulate the actual unit mix and research as far as the simulator supports it.
- Budget hold space for loaded cargo and deuterium at the origin for travel fuel; plan Harvest separately. Travel fuel does not use hold space.
- Be available when surviving ships return.
Research uses Constellation bonuses. Defense Technology strengthens fixed defenses and protects some daily production; it does not improve ordinary ship hull. Shield Domes are individual units, not shared fleet shields.
Active station galaxies do not create ordinary moons or allow Moon Destruction. Avoid legacy moon-based safety assumptions when fleetsaving.
