Heavy Freighter
A Heavy Freighter carries enough supplies and cargo to help establish a new station. It cannot create a physical planet.
Base statistics
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Structural integrity | 50,000 |
| Shield | 200 |
| Attack | 50 |
| Speed | 5,500 |
| Cargo capacity | 250,000 |
| Fuel coefficient | 150 |
These are base values before research. Structural integrity is not battle hull: combat uses one tenth of integrity. Fuel is a coefficient for the flight calculation, not a fixed price per trip.
Construction
| Resource | Base cost per unit |
|---|---|
| Metal | 30,000 |
| Crystal | 20,000 |
| Deuterium | 10,000 |
Requirements: Shipyard 4.
Material Physics reduces the resource price. Use the construction screen for the modified quote and timer. Ship construction also costs Credits from this galaxy’s wallet; check the full quote before ordering.
Use and limitations
Choose an available station slot at a physical planet where you do not already own a station. There are four slots per physical planet. Your starting station counts toward your empire limit: Astrophysics 1 gives two total stations, not unlimited expansion. A successful establishment consumes one Heavy Freighter and delivers carried supplies; surviving escorts return. Research purchases use RP. See station rules and Astrophysics.
Drive research modifies fleet speed. Its level-one bonus grows through completed research tiers, not fixed additions each level. Hyperspace Technology modifies cargo.

Rapidfire is a chance of another shot after a hit, not a guaranteed number of kills. See rapidfire and test important matchups in the simulator.
