v3.0 — One home for your galaxies
Sign in at game.mwarfare.com and choose your galaxy. G1 preserves the original Game empire, G2 preserves Season 2, and G3 preserves Season 3. G1 is permanent. G4 is open to new and existing players.
3.0.5
This release adds the changes below while preserving existing empires. My Stats and Dreadnought were removed and are not part of this release.
- Each game galaxy (G1, G2, G3, G4) is one coordinate galaxy. Stations in G1 appear only in G1, stations in G2 only in G2, and so on. The Galaxy page, Launch Pad and phone navigation no longer offer a typed galaxy number, keyboard shortcuts only step through systems, and new stations always join the populated galaxy of the selected G.
- Each completed Astrophysics level unlocks one additional station beyond the starting station. Station capacity no longer waits for rounded five-level research milestones; expedition capacity, missile range and research costs are unchanged.
- G1/G2/G3 upkeep uses a shared October 1, 2026 calendar instead of each galaxy's activation date. Permanent rates stay 25%/50%/75%; October 1 is 99% subsidized and October 12 is 88% subsidized, making that day's final rates 3%/6%/9%. The temporary subsidy ends January 8, 2027. G4 stays at 100%; grace periods and historical bills are unchanged. This calendar already reached production separately.
- Tactical Squad's cleared-wave Credit increment increases from 3 to 33 (+1,000%), while the five-Credit base stays unchanged. Before research modifiers, the first three cleared waves award 38, 71 and 104 Credits. Already banked rewards are not repriced.
- New Station Defense runs increase the per-wave Credit increment from 25 to 250 (10×), keeping the first-wave reward at 100. The first three wave rewards are 100, 350 and 600 before research modifiers. Pending runs retain their original reward rules.
- New Station Defense runs regenerate shields continuously during combat and between-wave breaks, even under repeated incoming hits. Pausing freezes regeneration, maximum shield capacity still applies, and existing pending runs keep their original combat mechanics.
- Quantum Datacenter adds passive station income alongside unchanged empire income. Its hourly output scales like mines: 60 × level × 1.1^(level−1), before production settings and research. Desktop and phone Resource Settings expose its hourly rate and 0–100% control. Quantum Computing improves output; Quantum Datacenter Optimization reduces material and Credit construction costs. Standard queues, fractional income and earlier earned rates remain intact, including delayed completion and installation cutovers; construction previews show current and next hourly income.
- Credits no longer shows the separate Latest settlement results panel; wallet history and upkeep spending remain available. Shipyard adds Restore eligible ships on desktop and in phone Units → Build, using existing galaxy-wide affordability and stasis rules. Restored ships return to their original station when available, otherwise to My Deliveries; successful recovery refreshes inventory.
- Quantum Datacenter requires both Fuel Cells and Deuterium to earn station Credits. At level 1 and 100% production it uses 1 Fuel Cell and 10 Deuterium per operating hour; higher levels and production settings scale consumption, while Quantum Computing increases income without increasing fuel use. Exhausting either input stops Datacenter income, not baseline empire income.
- Fleet notifications correctly identify your own deployment, transport and Exchange ship-transfer missions on desktop and phone, even when account and galaxy-player IDs differ.
- Espionage reports display the saved scan rather than a target's later identity or activity. Historical reports remain readable after targets change or disappear, including archived Space Dock, Terraformer and Lunar Base entries.
- New Tactical Squad runs give each living ship one personal action and one personal utility point on its turn, plus one bonus action and one bonus utility shared by the squad each round. Personal points are spent first; End turn does not refill shared bonuses. Existing saved runs retain their original point rules.
- Resource Settings includes Credits in the main resource table and Quantum Datacenter alongside other buildings, with its fuel costs, production control and fuel status in the same row. Phone Resource Settings uses the matching normal building card; no separate Credits production section remains.
- Frontier mission Credit finds increase 100×, with the new-run Credit hold rising from 1,000 to 100,000 so rewards remain collectable. Launch fees, material finds and previously saved Credit choices/cargo are unchanged. Launch expedition now sits beside Mission at the top of the details panel.
- Exchange prices recover exactly 1/30 of their remaining distance to each item's stored baseline per complete day, in either direction. Missed days compound, including inactive resources, manufactured goods and ships. Baselines and current prices are preserved during installation; recovery does not reset prices, move inventory or debit wallets.
- Owned-station and Jump Gate destinations use reconciled station identities and linked endpoints. Legacy G1–G3 nonzero coordinate-galaxy addresses were reconciled into coordinate galaxy 0 without moving empires between selected game galaxies; check saved destinations against the current station address. This correction already reached production separately.
3.0.4
Version 3.0.4 expands production, exploration and station battles while preserving existing research levels and verified payment history.
- Industry and Exchange: Industry expands to the available Exchange goods and ships, with current Shipyard and research requirements for assembly. Transports can trade refined resources. Market orders retain exact quantities while shared prices move in batches around per-item baselines, without a bid/ask spread. Confirmed orders refresh My Deliveries without reloading.
- Frontier and Tactical Squad: Frontier gains discovery-chance and maximum-mission-level research, new contract/mining-site routes, reward upgrades, and timed auctions for discovered contracts and mining sites. Successful extraction can supply single-use Tactical items. Tactical Squad adds formation initiative, shared round action/utility pools and up to two owned consumables per ship; cleared-wave Credits rise by three per wave above the five-Credit base, subject to survivor settlement.
- Station Defense: Choose five attack and two always-active utility slots using defenses owned at your selected station. Equipped defenses are reserved for a run and lost on verified station destruction; a verified win or replacing an unsettled run returns them. Wave-clear Credits are reserved for settlement, while kill Credits can fund upgrades. Restart Defense refreshes after settlement so the next loadout uses current inventory. Updated arena art shows your station and attackers.
- Research and facilities: Five-level milestones and compounding improve percentage bonuses. The RP quote grows exponentially with the level being bought and adds completed-tier penalties from other research domains; historical receipts and fixed-base profile weighting do not change. Commerce upgrades improve resource production, storage, cargo holds and Fuel Cell charging without taking travel fuel from cargo space. Existing Deuterium-to-Fuel-Cell facilities retain their levels as Energy Cell Factories, which store Fuel Cells rather than supply grid power. The separate Deuterium Power Plant supplies live-grid power; both facilities have distinct artwork.
- Fleet and interface: Jump Gates transfer available ships between eligible owned stations in one galaxy, including separate slots at one anchor. All selects a ship type; Send all ships selects every available type, and insufficient Fuel Cells show the required and available amounts. Launch Pad improves cargo selection, Load All and capacity feedback, ship labels and station/mission art. Galaxy Exchange access, animated station skins, and compact desktop navigation are clearer. Space Dock ships and research are retired; former outposts remain ordinary stations and unfinished Space Dock RP investments return to the wallet once. Historical battle reports remain readable. Terraformer/Lunar Base progression stays retired.
3.0.3
- Systems generate 3–10 fixed physical planet positions. Empty positions cannot be colonized, existing stations keep their addresses, and station coordinates show their slot (for example, 0:13-S3).
- Colony Ships are shown as Heavy Freighters. Overview shows your station count against the Astrophysics limit, including your starting station.
- The G-Store adds animated station skins. My Collection groups copies by skin and can assign a skin to multiple stations. Reserved designs remain available only to their assigned accounts.
- Terraformer and Lunar Base are retired. Their existing levels stay recorded; Industry structure deletion catches up a short overdue production queue before proceeding.
- Fleet upkeep remains active. G1/G2/G3 ramp from zero over 100 billing days toward 25%/50%/75% of the full rate, respectively; the first charged day's rates are 0.25%/0.50%/0.75%. G4 pays 100%.
- Every Credit already paid for upkeep in G1–G3 is returned to your galaxy wallet. Ships held in upkeep stasis are restored to their original station when it is still available; otherwise, claim them from their delivery in the Credit Market. G4 upkeep and fleets are unchanged.
- Resource production preserves fractional gains and avoids counting overlapping periods twice. Overlapping spending cannot lose updates or overspend, and fleet launches recheck the origin's ships before dispatch.
- Tactical Squad opening rewards and salvage are corrected.
- Optional issue wording assistance is disabled by default and needs a separate unchecked opt-in for each report. It preserves the original report, excludes private descriptions and does not approve or publish an issue. See Privacy and Support.
Frontier Exploration's repeatable research levels and longer new routes were already available in 3.0.3. The expanded Industry chain, batch-based Exchange pricing, Frontier auctions and new mission modifiers, and Station Defense loadouts and revised rewards are introduced in 3.0.4.
Fleet upkeep rollout
- Fleet upkeep is enabled in production for G1–G4. The disabled G5 preview is excluded.
- Activation was announced in-game and on Discord without an immediate charge. Empires received an initial 24-hour warning period, then daily settlement at noon US Eastern. New empires receive their own grace period. Missed bills during downtime are not charged later.
- Unaffordable stationary ships enter stasis; flights already underway finish normally. Keep Credits available and review the upkeep rules.
Stations replace separate planets and moons
Your holdings are now anchored stations. Physical planets have four station slots with independent owners. Existing moons were merged into their parent stations, preserving resources and units, retaining the higher structure levels, and refunding overlapping investment according to the conversion rules.
New moons and moon-destruction targeting are unavailable. Systems may use negative coordinates; coordinate galaxies must be nonnegative. Include a station slot when sharing a fleet destination.
Research Points and the galaxy economy
Research Constellation replaces timed research with RP investment. Previous research levels were reset for reinvestment. Conversion provides RP using a standardized research-time valuation and a stored, claimable material refund for removed levels and recorded unfinished payments. The conversion notice does not itself claim that refund; see the conversion guide. Open Research to review your RP balance and choose technology levels. Stations and physical Research Labs generate RP.
Credits belong to each galaxy empire. They fund construction and the active Credit Market. Bought goods wait in My Deliveries until pickup or deployment. Your account-wide G and cosmetic skin collection stay shared across galaxies.
Join Galaxy 4
New accounts begin in G4 with a station and 100,000 Credits. Existing players choose G4 → Create first station in the galaxy selector. Joining does not change the stations, research, fleets, alliances or balances in their other empires.
G5 is a disabled countdown preview for January 1, 2027 at noon Eastern (EST). It does not open automatically.
More ways to build and fight
- Industry: unlock a factory of connected modules, materials and ship assembly on your stations.
- Frontier Exploration: commit real ships to sector decisions, discoveries and rewards; losses affect your fleet.
- Station Defense: survive simulated waves and earn verified Credits without risking your real station.
- Tactical Squad: command a small committed fleet through turn-based encounters.
- Research Constellation: invest RP manually or fund a chosen technology automatically, with branch-dependent costs and previews of each level's benefits.
Availability
G-Store skin purchases use existing G. Real-money packs and paid subscriptions remain previews. Accounts with a complimentary monthly award receive 625 G immediately and monthly at no charge, with the next credit date shown in Store; this is not a universal starter award.
NPC automation, Galaxy Transfers and Infiltration remain held in production. Fleet upkeep is active in G1–G4; a research entry or historical wiki page does not enable the other held systems.
3.0.2 — Fleet launch corrections
- Desktop, tablet and mobile launches no longer reserve cargo space for travel fuel. Only the resources you load use the hold.
- Empty holds no longer trigger Low Cargo just because a trip uses fuel. The origin must still have enough deuterium to pay for the journey.
- Mobile cargo-fill controls use the full available hold. Excess cargo, insufficient fuel and unavailable missions still prevent launch.
3.0.1 — Interface fixes and clearer guides
- Account Recovery supports emailed reset links or registered recovery-channel codes, depending on your account. Password resets preserve your galaxies and additional sign-in verification. Recovery remains disabled on TEST; see accounts and universes.
- Desktop and tablet Galaxy navigation uses − / + buttons beside System, without the separate Galaxy field or Scan button. The map pane has a transparent background. Mobile coordinate controls also move between systems within the selected galaxy.
- Mobile Galaxy controls use shorter labels and station-focused navigation. Fleet mission selection now works when a destination coordinate is zero.
- Launch Pad shows station artwork without the old planet layer and compacts desktop fleet summaries. Mobile G-Store and Credits links are easier to reach from the footer.
- Desktop Research follows the Buildings and Shipyard layout. Rankings show player archetypes, and Exchange displays fractional price movements instead of rounding them away.
- Player guides now describe the shared galaxies, stations, RP research, Credits and G-Store, with historical rules clearly separated from current play.
Test server safeguards
- A persistent TEST SERVER warning identifies the test environment. The original preview described a 72-hour replacement schedule; refreshes can be paused or delayed. See TEST safeguards rather than assuming a reset deadline.
- Existing copied accounts can sign in, but registration, password recovery and identity changes, verification and account deletion are disabled on test. Live account management is unchanged. See accounts and universes.
- Public test-server availability will be announced separately.
Hotfixes
Desktop launch coordinate correction
- Desktop and tablet Launch accept valid galaxy/system zero and negative systems. Blank fields and negative galaxy coordinates remain invalid.
October 2026
- Fixed shared-galaxy registration and research-owner queries that could interrupt player pages.
- Opened G4 enrollment while preserving every player's other empires.
- Activated station conversion, RP research, Credits, Credit Market and cosmetic G-Store flows.
- Corrected station conversion checks and rejected new negative coordinate galaxies while retaining signed systems.
- Refreshed the public landing showcase and heading.
Existing accounts and history
Use your existing sign-in credentials. If an empire is missing, contact support before creating another account. Old S2/S3 addresses redirect to the shared game.
Historical transport messages can retain deleted-body references as plain text. Older release notes remain historical records rather than current instructions.
