Standard Missions

These missions move real fleets inside the selected galaxy. Check the target station slot, selected units, fuel and arrival time before launching. All new fleets use 100% travel speed; Fuel Cells do not provide travel-speed boosts or waive Deuterium fuel.

Mission Purpose Return
Attack Fight enemy ships and defenses; loot within cargo limits Survivors return
ACS Attack Join an invited coordinated attack Each surviving fleet returns
Transport Deliver resources to a station Fleet returns after unloading
Deployment Move a fleet to an owned station One-way
ACS Defend Guard a destination for a chosen hold period Returns after hold or recall
Espionage Generate a report at the selected station Probes return
Establish Station Establish a station in an eligible empty slot One Heavy Freighter consumed; escorts return
Harvest Collect shared debris Fleet returns with recovered goods
Missile Attack Launch Interplanetary Missiles Missiles consumed; no fleet slot

Moon Destruction is unavailable in current station mode. Historical reports may retain that mission type.

Combat and intelligence

Attack and ACS Attack resolve combat using the ships and defenses actually present. ACS fleets share an arrival time; joining is subject to the group's timing limit. An attack report is not a guarantee that the target's current inventory will still be there at arrival.

Espionage sends probes for an immediate report and alerts the target. For repeated intelligence gathering in a system, see Recon. Isolation Mode prevents new hostile targeting; flights already underway still resolve.

Transport and deployment

Transport carries materials and returns. Deployment leaves ships and cargo at an owned destination. Neither moves assets between G1, G2, G3 and G4; those are separate game galaxies.

Establish Station

You need a Heavy Freighter, sufficient Astrophysics capacity and a valid empty station slot. You may own only one station around a given physical planet. The destination and capacity are checked again at arrival.

On success, one Heavy Freighter is consumed and carried supplies are delivered. Surviving escorts return. Choosing an empty slot does not reserve it forever; check the mission's outcome.

Harvest

Bring at least one Recycler or Reaper. Debris is shared at the physical location, so you can target a debris field even without an occupied station. Available cargo and salvage capacity limit collection; research affects the recovered yield. A partial trip is allowed if you cannot carry the whole field.

Missile attacks

IPMs target an enemy station within range in the same coordinate galaxy. They do not use fleet slots. ABMs intercept one IPM each; remaining missiles damage eligible defenses and units.

In Research Constellation, Astrophysics level 1 grants a four-system range; later levels use the displayed rounded whole-number bonus. Research and distance affect damage and fuel. Use the launch quote and Interplanetary Missiles for the current rules rather than an old season's linear formula.
