Graviton Technology
Graviton Technology is the research requirement for Deathstar construction.
Unlock and limitations
Complete Graviton Technology 1 and meet the Deathstar’s Shipyard requirement. Ordinary moons and Moon Destruction are retired in the active anchored-station galaxies; do not buy later Graviton levels expecting to destroy another player’s station. The research panel may retain a historical Moon Destruction risk effect, which has no usable station-destruction mission in 3.0.
Cost and access
Available from level 0 without a lab or research prerequisite. Level 1 costs 3,000 base RP; later levels grow exponentially before any other-domain tier surcharge. The Research screen shows the current quote and saved funding.
Purchase a completed level immediately with RP, or use automatic investment. Metal, crystal and deuterium are not research payments in 3.0. Physical Research Labs increase RP income, not purchase speed.
Each fifth level adds another initial amount before compounding the bonus itself by 1%. See tier progression.
When to invest
Research the unlock only when you can fund and support a Deathstar. For exploration rewards, choose Gravitational Navigation instead.
