Installing On Mobile

MWarfare can be installed on your phone as a web app. You use the same account across the shared game’s galaxies, and the game launches from your home screen with less browser chrome and a cleaner mobile feel.

What Installation Changes

  • MWarfare gets a home screen icon like an app.
  • The game opens in its own standalone window when your browser supports it.
  • Home and wiki pages can stay available when your connection drops.
  • Live gameplay still requires a stable internet connection.

Installation does not create a separate account and does not let you play offline.

Android

Most Android browsers support direct installation.

Fastest Method

  1. Open MWarfare in your mobile browser.
  2. If you see an Install app prompt, tap it.
  3. Confirm the install.
  4. Launch MWarfare from your home screen.

If You Do Not See The Prompt

  1. Open the browser menu.
  2. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Confirm the install.

iPhone And iPad

On iPhone and iPad, install MWarfare through Safari.

  1. Open MWarfare in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add.

If you are using another browser on iPhone, open the page in Safari first.

Private iPad Test App

The private TestFlight app is separate from Safari's home-screen installation. Play the iPad app in landscape, with either edge at the top. If a rotation prompt appears, turn your iPad sideways or widen the app window. Your session stays open. The iPhone app continues to support portrait.

Private Mac Test App

The Mac test app uses the desktop game interface and your existing game account. You can resize its window or use macOS full-screen mode. Web interface updates come from the same game server as the browser and mobile versions.

Connection Warnings

MWarfare is a live, stateful game. Fleets, queues, resources, and combat all depend on the server.

If your connection is weak or drops:

  • The app warns you before live gameplay becomes unreliable.
  • Cached home and wiki pages can still open.
  • Login, gameplay, exchange actions, and admin tools still require a live connection.

When you see a connection warning, wait for it to clear before:

  • sending or recalling fleets
  • starting or canceling builds
  • relying on timers or resource updates

If A Direct Sign-In Form Expires

On the shared game's email-and-password sign-in page, tap Login once and wait for the game to open. If an old sign-in form has expired, the game opens a fresh sign-in page and asks you to try again. If your first sign-in already succeeded, it takes you into the game instead. Returning to a sign-in form with your browser's Back button refreshes that form.

Your password is not resubmitted automatically. You do not need to reset your account or clear your game data.

Good Habits

  • Sign in at game.mwarfare.com, then select your galaxy in the game.
  • Install MWarfare after you have successfully signed in once.
  • Use Safari on iPhone for the cleanest install flow.
  • On Android, keep browser updates current so install prompts work reliably.
  • Re-open the app once after major updates so the latest assets can refresh.
