Anti-Ballistic Missiles
Anti-Ballistic Missiles automatically intercept incoming Interplanetary Missiles.
Base statistics
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Structural integrity | 8,000 |
| Shield | 1 |
| Attack | 1 |
These are base values before research. Structural integrity is not battle hull: combat uses one tenth of integrity. Defenses remain at the station where they are built.
Construction
| Resource | Base cost per unit |
|---|---|
| Metal | 8,000 |
| Crystal | 2,000 |
| Deuterium | 100 |
Requirements: Missile Silo 2, Shipyard 1.
Material Physics reduces the resource price. Use the construction screen for the modified quote and timer.
Use and limitations
Each ABM consumes itself to stop one IPM. Remaining missiles are max(0, incoming IPMs − available ABMs). They do not intercept attacking fleets. The silo has 20 capacity slots per level: an ABM uses 1 and an IPM uses 2. Silo automation can restock the selected missile type when resources and capacity are available, using its own missile lane.
Missile attacks use their own interception and damage rules, separate from fleet combat and rapidfire.
