Changelog
3.0.5
The 3.0.5 notes describe the release:
- Economy: Quantum Datacenter Credit income, its research upgrades and Fuel Cell/Deuterium costs; unified Resource Settings; Shipyard stasis recovery; Credits-page cleanup; and daily Exchange price recovery.
- Combat and exploration: increased Tactical Squad and Station Defense wave rewards, continuous Station Defense shield regeneration, personal/shared Tactical point budgets, and higher Frontier Credit finds with a larger Credit hold.
- Stations and reporting: one extra station per completed Astrophysics level, one coordinate galaxy per playable G, friendly fleet labels and saved-scan espionage reports.
The shared G1–G3 upkeep calendar and owned-station/Jump Gate destination corrections are retained. G4 upkeep is unchanged. My Stats and Dreadnought were removed.
3.0.4
The 3.0.4 notes cover expanded Industry assembly and transport trades, batch-based Exchange pricing, Frontier discoveries and auctions, Tactical consumables, Station Defense loadouts, tiered Research and Commerce improvements, new energy facilities, Jump Gate transfers and Launch Pad improvements.
3.0.3
- Galaxy systems now have 3–10 physical planet positions. Empty positions cannot be colonized; existing stations keep their addresses. Station addresses show their slot, such as 0:13-S3.
- Colony Ships are shown as Heavy Freighters. Overview shows your station count against your Astrophysics limit, including the starting station.
- The G-Store adds animated station skins. My Collection groups copies by skin and lets you assign a skin to multiple stations; reserved designs remain available only to their assigned accounts.
- Terraformer and Lunar Base are retired. Existing levels stay recorded; Industry structure deletion now catches up short overdue production runs before proceeding.
- Fleet upkeep stays active in G1–G4. G1/G2/G3 ramp from zero over 100 billing days toward 25%/50%/75% of the full rate, respectively; the first charged day's rates are 0.25%/0.50%/0.75%. G4 pays 100%. Previously paid G1–G3 upkeep Credits were returned and upkeep-stasis ships were restored or placed in a claimable delivery.
- Resource production and overlapping spending are safer, fleet launches recheck their origin ships, and Tactical Squad opening rewards and salvage are corrected.
- Optional issue wording assistance is off by default and needs a separate opt-in for each report. Original reports remain intact; private descriptions are excluded.
Frontier Exploration's repeatable research levels and longer new routes already existed in 3.0.3. The expanded Industry chain, batch-based Exchange price impact, Frontier contract auctions and new mission modifiers, and Station Defense loadouts and revised rewards are introduced in 3.0.4.
3.0.1 — Earlier interface changes
- Exchange prices and charts show small price movements after trades instead of hiding them through rounding. Order totals still use whole Credits; ordinary sales affect the market on arrival.
- PC Launch Pad shows selected ship icons and quantities beneath a wider Select Ships button, places compact slot counts below the mission selector, and uses larger cargo, fuel and travel-time text.
- Launch shows station skins without planet images underneath on PC and phones, with transparent Origin, Target and Mission widgets.
- The player menu no longer shows Credit Wallet, Community Safety, Frontier, Industry or Privacy Policy shortcuts. Those pages and their other access points are unchanged.
- Desktop Rankings now show each player's research Archetype instead of Focus, including expanded alliance members. Mobile Focus icons are unchanged.
- Updated security dependencies and strengthened safeguards for maintenance and test tools.
- The Infiltration window now uses a transparent outer background to match the other game pages, while keeping its controls and mission panels readable.
- PC Research uses the Buildings/Shipyard search-and-details layout without a top banner, with available RP in the archetype widget and transparent panel backgrounds. Mobile research and RP spending are unchanged.
- Simplified mobile/PWA Galaxy browsing: removed the Galaxy input, hid planet labels at empty positions, and kept occupied planets’ names separate from their coordinates.
- Fixed the phone Launch mission picker staying disabled for destinations in galaxy or system zero, or a negative system.
- Mobile and phone-layout PWAs show G-STORE with its store icon as a bottom-right text link instead of the G balance. Credits appear at the bottom left and open Credit Wallet. Desktop controls are unchanged.
Test server safeguards identify its reset schedule and restrict identity changes while preserving existing-account sign-in. These notes do not announce a public test-server opening.
Release guides
G1–G4 now use stations, Research Points, Credits and the Credit Market. Check the current release guide before applying rules from an older season.
Historical records
Historical notes preserve the behavior announced at the time. A dated mention of moons, timed research, a portal, active NPCs or preview upkeep does not make it a current production feature.
