Ratings & Seasons
The MWarfare ratings system tracks your performance across the universe and turns long-term progress into visible competition. If you want to know how active players compare empires, fleets, research, and seasonal momentum, start here.
Accessing Ratings
The Ratings button and Overview rating readout are temporarily hidden in the desktop web game. Rating data and background updates are preserved. Traditional Rankings and Hall Of Fame remain available; the Achievements navigation is hidden. Mobile and native layouts have their own navigation.
What Are Ratings?
Every player has a rating score from 0-100 that reflects their performance compared to other players. Higher ratings mean you're outperforming most of the universe.
Your overall rating is calculated from six categories:
| Category | Relative weight | What It Measures |
|---|---|---|
| Economy | 0.18 | Resource production and accumulation |
| Military | 0.18 | Fleet size and military power |
| Combat | 0.18 | Battle performance and wins |
| Research | 0.14 | Technology advancement |
| Expansion | 0.14 | Owned holdings vs top empire |
| Achievement | 0.10 | Achievement points earned |
The overall rating divides the weighted total by 0.92, the sum of these weights. See How Ratings Work for examples and the fixed benchmark used for Achievement Rating.
Galaxies and seasons
G1 is permanent, G2/G3 preserve seasonal empires, and G4 is open. G5's January 1, 2027 noon-EST countdown is a disabled preview, not an automatic opening or closeout. Ratings seasons are separate competition records within each galaxy; a galaxy can have no active ratings season.
Read Seasons before planning around a future date.

Quick Facts
- Ratings update every hour
- Galaxy openings and closeouts require a confirmed announcement.
- Hall Of Fame snapshots refresh every hour on the hour using battle reports that are at least 1 hour old
- A rating of 50 means you're mid-range between the current low and high
- Higher ratings mean you're closer to the top performers
- Your username history is tracked with your ratings
- Balanced growth usually beats one-dimensional play over a full season
Tip: Focus on balanced growth across all categories for the best overall rating. Specialists who excel in one area can still rank highly in category-specific leaderboards!
