Frontier Logistics
Frontier Logistics improves selected long-range fuel costs, expedition rewards and salvage cargo.
Quick stats
| Effect at level 1 | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Expedition, Harvest and Deploy fuel reduction | −2% |
| Expedition rewards | +2% |
| Wayfinder, Recycler and Reaper cargo | +5% |
The fuel reduction caps at 99% and applies only to the named mission families. The cargo bonus adds alongside Hyperspace Technology for those three hulls; other ships do not receive it. Fleet quotes remain subject to fuel reservations and rounding.
Cost and access
Available from level 0 without a lab or research prerequisite. Level 1 costs 1,000 base RP; later levels grow exponentially (by the configured 1.75× factor) before any other-domain tier surcharge. The Research screen shows the current quote and saved funding.
Purchase a completed level immediately with RP, or use automatic investment. Metal, crystal and deuterium are not research payments in 3.0. Physical Research Labs increase RP income, not purchase speed.
Each fifth level adds another initial amount before compounding the bonus itself by 1%. See tier progression.
When to invest
Choose it for frequent harvest and deployment work or the relevant exploration fleet. Do not assume it discounts an ordinary Attack or Transport mission.
