Getting Started

Welcome to MWarfare. This section is for players who want a clean start in a browser-based space strategy MMO without wasting their opening hours on guesswork.

If you are new, focus on account setup, early economy, energy balance, and safe fleet habits before you worry about aggressive expansion.

In-game walkthrough

The welcome tutorial covers Research Points and galaxy-specific research, the Credit Wallet and G Store, then introduces resource production and Exchange trading before the final cosmetic-skin step. Use Next and Back to move between explanations. The highlighted controls are the real game navigation or controls—not tutorial purchases. Selecting one pauses the guide so you can browse normally. Resume tutorial at the bottom right returns to your saved step; refreshing in the same browser tab preserves your place.

Practice production

Open Buildings (Build on a phone). Inspect Metal Mine, Crystal Mine, Solar Plant, and Deuterium Synthesizer on your regular station. Review next-level material and Credit costs, energy and construction time before intentionally choosing Improve. A queued level produces nothing extra until it finishes. Keep Solar Plant output sufficient as you expand your mines, leave Deuterium for transport fuel, and watch storage capacity. Follow the displayed costs and queue rather than a fixed level recipe.

Practice Exchange trading

In Exchange → Market, use Find an item, select a resource, and inspect Price Trend. Choose Buy or Sell, enter a whole-number Quantity, and review the updated quote before deliberately pressing Submit order. Buying resources spends Credits but leaves the goods at the Exchange: use My Deliveries → Pickup, choose the holding that will send and receive the cargo ships, and ensure it has sufficient cargo ships, fuel and a fleet slot. Wait for transport to return before spending the materials. Sales launch goods from your selected station and settle Credits at the market rate on arrival; the preview is only an estimate.

No building, research investment, trade or store purchase is required to finish. Next does not perform those actions or claim you completed them. Finish tutorial and Skip tutorial save completion; players who already completed the tutorial are not forced through it again. To replay, add ?tutorial=1 to your galaxy's Overview URL.

Core Concepts

Resources

Your empire runs on three primary resources:

  • Metal - The backbone of all construction
  • Crystal - Used for electronics and advanced components
  • Deuterium - Fuel for ships and construction

Buildings

Start by upgrading your mines to increase resource production. Important: Mines consume energy, so you must build Solar Plants alongside your mines or mine output will fall.

Key early buildings depend on what your station lacks:

  • Improve Metal and Crystal Mines for your next material goal.
  • Add Solar Plant levels when energy shortage reduces mine output.
  • Add Deuterium Synthesizer production before planning fuel-heavy missions.

Review each building's current material and Credit quote rather than following a fixed upgrade sequence.

Research

In G1–G4, physical Research Labs and stations earn Research Points (RP). Spend RP on immediate levels or automatic investment; selecting a technology does not spend points. Each level's RP quote rises with the level being bought, and completed tiers in other research domains add penalties. See Research Constellation for tier costs and saved funding.

Credits and G

Credits fund your galaxy economy and are shared across your holdings in that galaxy. Open Credit Wallet to inspect your balance and spending. G is separate account-wide store currency for cosmetic purchases. Browse G-Store and My collection without spending; buying and equipping a skin are separate actions.

Ships & Combat

Build ships to attack enemies, transport resources, and explore the galaxy. Ordinary fleet combat resolves automatically; Tactical Squad and Station Defense are separate encounters with their own committed assets and rewards. Check Frontier for exploration routes and Industry for production and Exchange trade.
